Detect and Remove Spyware

I have version 7.1 yahoo toolbar on my computer. I can not get the CA anti-spyware button back on my computer. How do I get it back.

I can’t download Mcafee and i think it’s because I might have spyware or adware. Everytime I try to download Mcafee a message comes up saying that it can’t be installed because there are problems with my internet connection…
Says it has trouble connecting to the internet.
I have Windows XP
Can someone please help me figure out how to download Mcafee???!?!?

I was wondering which is more effective.
I am planning to get ESET Smart Security 4 with Antivirus and Spyware Protection but I am also wondering if I can get Ad-Aware/Spybot/Malwarebytes.

I have adware or malware on my pc that is not found by spybot,adaware,or any antivirus program. Does anyone know which one uses a "blue scribble" number 2 as their logo?
