How do get rid of adware,viruses,trojans and sypware?

I have AVG, spybot search and destroy,ad aware and spyware terminator. i have used all of them to scan and deleted the viruses and troans.. but the adware keeps popping up and my AVG keeps finding virus loops and trojans. please help me!

i use this combo in my PC security and really works fine with me.
Use the Sophos or McAfee suites. Better still, just don’t use an operating system that is plagued with viruses, adware, spyware and trojans! The upgrade is free too:

Stop visiting unknown and untrustworthy sites.
Disable "System Restore" for Windows Me and XP, then restart your PC to clean your system restore points for viruses, spyware, adware etc.
Scan your computer with your security programs in safe mode.
Press F8 upon boot up and select Safe Mode.
Antivirus: BitDefender Online scanner – will scan and remove threats.
Anti adware/spyware: Ewido Online Scanner – will scan and remove threats.

try running http://housecall.antivirus.com it’s free and will just about take anything off your computer that is bad, I use it once a week and the only bad thing is it takes about a half hour to do the scan and delete.
