How To Disable / Enable HTTP Header Refresh in Mozilla Firefox
By default, Firefox will start the download of an executable file specified in the http header. This occurs without active scripting, which means standard security add-ons such as No Script will not prevent this from occurring. To stop unintentional redirects or malicious downloads, follow the instructions below to disable http header refresh in Firefox version 3 (characteristic not available in previous versions; upgrading and disabling is recommended).
• Open the Firefox browser
• Click Tools | Options | Advanced
• Select the General tab
• Under Accessibility, select: Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page
• Click OK
