Is it recommended to scan your computer for malware, spyware, viruses, & adware simultaneously or in series?

I just downloaded a few programs I feel confident that are trustworthy to use. Can I use them the same time or will they interfere with each others task?
I’d like to run avg full computer scan & Malwarebytes Anti-Malware full computer scan while running Ad-Aware full computer scane the same time.

no just run 1 at a time. Running more than 1 could cause the other to miss an infection. If you have a good antivirus it should be scanning in real
time(always scanning) antivirus scanners and malware/spyware scanners
are not the same, but both are necessary to protect your computer.
One at a time.
On the contrary, it is recommended that you *don’t* scan with multiple anti-malware programs at the same time.
EDIT:
Indeed running multiple scans at the same time will most probably cause a decrease in system performance, but that aside, I’d be more concerned about what can happen if two scanners try and scan the same file at the same time…
you can do all of them at once, but man its going to be slow as hell.
each is checking the HDD files and the HDD is only so fast at reading, these days the slowest thing in your computer is the HDD, the cpu and bus speeds are way faster and are always waiting on the HDD.
Better to do one at a time and correct anything they find as you go.
