Their PC Infections
I came into the office to start my day as a book keeper. As usual, I was a few minutes early. So, I didnt feel in too much of a hurry. I reached down and turned on my PC. I signed in, and walked over to the kitchen area for something to drink. When I got back, there were a hundred odd looking bugs moving all over my desktop screen.
I just about died. A sudden hollow feeling swelled up inside of me. What is all of that? Can I get rid of that? What If I lose all my business data???? What if my PC completely crashes, then what will I do????
Maybe you have a friend like mine. Without his PC, he is a maniac. The level of upset when our trusty PCs mess up is overwhelming, but the situation is all too common. One person told me that if it is windows PC, it is infected with something. He said it is just made that way. I dont know about that, but I have had many friends who about explode when their desktop CPU starts messing up. It seems that when we go on the internet, or get email, or do anything on a PC; they are exposed to possible infection.
The PC technicians have many different terms for the different kinds of desktop CPU infections, but to me they are all about the same. There is adware, spyware, malware, phishing not fishing, virus, Trojans, worms, and more. They hide in the temporary files of the windows operating system or internet files. They often run in the background. They can mess up the PC registry. They can redirect internet activity. They can steal your personal information. They can even shut down your computer all together.
My friend had no idea what to do when suddenly his PC was infected. He had all the typical programs for anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-anti; but none of it worked. He tried running scan after scan, but his PC was still infected. When my wifes computer messed up, we just stared at each other. We had no clue what to do. So we started by running scans. We tried several programs. All we got was more and more frustrated.
I was frustrated. I had a technician come to the office to fix the desktop CPU. $150 later, the desktop CPU was still messed up. The technician said I needed to clean my hard drive or replace it or something. The bottom line was, I just lost every bit of vital data on my computer.
Then I ran across a website that said they did free virus removal by remote connection. I was intrigued. I figured that I could not lose anything more, so I contacted them. They sent me a piece of software to install on my computer enabling them to remotely connect to my computer. From hundreds of miles away, an expert technician sat in his office fixing my computer. I was amazed. I could see some of the things he was doing on my monitor, but it was obvious he knew things I had no clue about. It took a little over an hour, but when he was done. My computer was fixed.
As I understand it remote desktop CPU repair is the newest advancement in desktop CPU servicing. From hundreds of miles away, a technician can identify what is wrong and in most cases fix it right over the internet. Amazing.
Convinced? I am. From now on I am going to save money and use remote PC repair services. I am going to enjoy carefree computing.
