Maybe it’s the wrong virus. If not, The only important thing is that you follow what i do on Malware bytes exactly. You have to delete the virus after the scan. You may have to run the full scan.

  2. DH5354 Said,

i did the thing you told me to but it still keep poping up the virus

  3. theif519 Said,

Lucky you, I can’t restore back to any time period because I never did… I can’t even go back to when I first got the computer.

  4. MrAmericanAce Said,

wow…. if only i had malwarebytes before i got hit with this virus… i kept trying to get it and it wouldnt let meh even download it.. did a restore to a week ago and you can bet i am downloading malwarebytes right this second…

  5. unclestilkins Said,

    No.
you can go to your “START” button-
    select “Run. . .”
    inside the box type “Regedit”
    click “OK”
Select “File” – Go down to “EXPORT”
Select your “Desk Top” to save it on
Name the file “fix.reg” and save.
go back to your desk top- and open the file with “Notepad”- then copy and paste what I have on the side bar, and follow the instructions after that.

  6. dm8167 Said,

Wow! Your awesome! Thanks a million.

  7. 851995STARGATE Said,

vista guardian is fucing rogue crapware…. i hate it allong with internet security 2010

  8. monkomiclay Said,

is it supposed to say “cannot import C:\Users\Name\Desktop\fix.reg: the specified file is not a registry script. you can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor.” when i double click on the fix.reg?

  9. unclestilkins Said,

yes. I would reccomend the full scan though

  10. unclestilkins Said,

it will come back. then you can run the program without the fix.reg because its already in use.

  11. parejob Said,

you are good at this thanks for your help.

  12. kongfumonkey Said,

  16. kikka510 Said,

Thanks your video was so fuckin helpful..

  17. limeywatermelon Said,

I scan it, get about 301 viruses, and most of them say delete on reboot so I restart my computer but the virus is still sending me messages and updates. Also, alot of the files are under the quarantine tab, is that alright, does that mean its gone, or just frozen, and does deleting the quarantined ones get rid of it? thanks for the vid by the way!

  18. troubledownbelowsir Said,

Task manager wouldn’t open, but I found out how to change the registry to show it. I then could stop av.exe. But I still couldn’t install Malwarebytes. It wouldn’t quite finish. Finally, I attached the hard drive as a secondary drive to my pc. I could then scan with Malwarebytes, but didn’t find it for some reason. But I knew it was there. Finally, with that setup, I scanned the secondary drive with Housecall. That got it. Then I could scan with Malwarebytes to clean up. Worst case I’ve seen.

  19. noodles41 Said,

thanks a lot man, that thing was really pissing me off

  20. KingKhronic Said,

open task manager then click processess tab then find av.exe or av*32.exe depending on your comp and end processe then you can run malwarebytes

  21. unclestilkins Said,

thats if it wont let you run Malwarbytes. That only happens if you let the virus scan (which its actually spreading).

  22. izurz Said,

why do you have to save that not pad thing? i ran malawarebytes without it and it got rid of the virus.

  23. troubledownbelowsir Said,

I tried all these suggestions and the ones I found on google. They didn’t work. This thing shut down the task manager, which i finally fixed in the registry. I can’t install or run malwarebytes even with a different name from a CD. I tried taking out the hard drive and making it a “slave” on another computer. Then I could run malwarebytes and scan the E drive, but it doesn’t check the slave drive’s root directory. So it doesn’t find anything. But it’s still there. Thanks for the video, though.

  24. skdjfoiegdds Said,

well normally I just google search the problem and find a download to fix it. This spyware or virus however would not let me get on the internet. When I clicked on search it would freak out and shut off… Im gonna be ready with preinstalled antispyware in case this happens again.

  25. Neofran15 Said,

lol you are a noob aren’t you? it’s okay we all have to start somewhere. If you get another virus, I recomend superfreeantispyware…or any other anti spam bot. just google it, and once you download it..this scans all of your files for you..lol saving you hours of searching..once it’s done scanning, just click finish..it will reboot your cpu, and then your done! Sometimes recovering your cpu doesn’t do the trick, so I run this guy every week or so…hope this helps, and saves you some time!
