There is an adware antivirus program on my computer. How do I get rid of it?
Aug-30-2010 By admin
I’ve tried all I know. I went to add/remove but I didn’t see it listed. I also tried downloading a trusted and free antivirus program (Avast!) but it didn’t work either.
It’s slowed down my comp and gives me pop ups every 10 seconds of it trying to convince to buy the full version of its ridiculous program.
Any suggestions? It’s called Antivirus Pro.
Antivirus System Pro is what I meant to say.

Go to all programs, click on accessories, click on system tools, click on system restore & follow the prompts.
find the uninstall ( start- avast-unstall)
try add or remove in control panel

Try running a Spyware Doctor/Malwarebytes scan in safe mode. If that fails, you can try removing it manually according to these instructions:

okay first off if you want a temp fix open up your task manager then go to processes then find the .exe that has the name kinda like that then end the process tree.
You should use an antivirus program and antispyware software, because your computer is now infected with viruses and/or spyware.
