what is a good adware blocker that really does block mime objects and over under ads??

I am looking for a adware blocker or pop up blocker that really does block all types of mime objects and over and under ads as well..
The spyware and such is not a problem on my computer at all and I do have firefox browser already.. Just want an ad blocker that blocks all mime type advertisements and such..

    get mozzilla firefox and use it as your primary browser, it blocks 90-95% of pop-ups if not more

    Second the suggestion for Firefox browser, then get the add-on called AdBlock Plus, with it’s own options AdBlock Plus Filterset.G Updater and AdBlock Plus Element Hiding Helper.

    I get virtually no ads at all.
