   Thanks a lot. This thing was causing me a lot of trouble. I honestly did not think they were that stupid to make it visible in add/delete new programs. I just got rid of it 5 minutes ago, and so far seems to be working well.

    to get rid of it for a while, oress ctrl+alt+delete at the same time and open the task manager
    under proccess click and right click delete the xp anti spyware
    but as soon as you restart your computer its back

    its not just the actual website you can get this threat from… these douchebags have embedded it into websites. if you visit the website it will say its scanning ur cpu and even if you stop it it still somehow downloads itslef and then it tries to make you buy a license by popping up a fake version of your windows security centre… arghhh!!!!! ive been attacked twice by these twatcunts, once with antivirus2009 and today with this… i got me some free malware stuff now though…

    this trojan installed itself on my pc by it self while i was watching t.v. we have filed a lawsuit againt the rogue software company & AVG for 250,000 because we lost tons of client data. i would suggest people start suing the shit out of these types of software companies and your antivirus company because they are suppose to protect you from this

    it is not an antivirus. it is a spyware and it it fucked me up the other day. it uninstalled IE, firefox, and many other applications.
    the solution is to install MBAM, and this will destroy antispywarexp2009 quickly

    I found a simple system-restore about half an hour after being infected (without opening anything between then) seems to do the trick. So long as it hasn’t already screwed around with your registry and all.. I got it this mourning (Bad pun) and did everything to search for the virus (which remained undetected), then I thought ‘Screw-it’ and did a system restore for three days prior. Seems to be working fine now! Hope this helps, GOOD LUCK!
